Changing seasons 3/4/11

Hello there world. Spring is lurking somewhere just not here in the north east. It will make here eventually and we can get back to those trout. Currently I am getting some fantastic ice fishing reports from Oneida Lake and Lake Ontario with the main quarry being the vermit perch. Limit catches with over 50% being jumbos, now thats the kind of perch fishing I like. I have two friends on Sandy Pond as I write and they reported over flowing buckets of 50 each last night. I an hoping that the river will be breaking up so that I can get back out in the boat for the last two weeks of the walleye season. When the ice is breaking up in the river it can be one of the best chances to catch a trophy. Fish frantically.
