No end in sight

The winter just will not end here in the north east. Opening day of trout season is looking dismal at best. I knew when I saw Puxatona Phi,l with a knapsack over his shoulder and a sign that read Florida or bust, that we were in trouble. Even I, the most avid ice fisherman, have had about enough of this. For those braving the opener I suggest you think tributaries or small brook trout streams. Other than that everything else seems to be in limbo with no reports coming in from anywhere. Hang in there something has to change.
