Back from the ADK and blue!!!!

Just got back from opening up the fishing operation in the mountains and brother things are way behind. Looks like a stake bed except those are more bunk beds for our stream side chalets. Water was beautiful when I got there considering we just came out of the winter from hell. I was pumped that once again I would hook a couple of early season monsters. NYS guide Rich Garfield had called and was coming to fish the following day. Sun was out , Bluewing Olives were coming of and all was well. In the mountains things can change quickly. 48 hours later the water was up to the edge of the bank and the water was very dirty. That is sprig in the mountains and you better be ready for anything. I hate to say that I did not even have a bite but i didn’t strain myself trying. The river was unfishable for most of the week I was there and mountains still have feet of snow in them, so the water was pure melt off. Oh well my day will come but it will be a little late in that I broke my ankle the last night I was there. I knew I  should have had more than one beer!!! This sucks. Bye.
