Adirondack Trout Fishing Update – June 28, 2013

Papa Bear is currently up in the northern Adirondack region of New York State for an extended trip, of course without internet access. But where there’s a will – there’s a way to provide conditions updates from within the nerve center of the most remote wild trout fishing center in the area. For the next several weeks the ol’ master will be updating the stream reports via voicemail.

Current conditions: Fair

River Height: Very High

River Clarity: A bit off colored

Significant Hatches: None. Use streamers / baitfish imitations

Trout Activity Report: Several fish between 15-19 inches landed. With the rising water, ideal conditions have tapered off and with more rain on the way, rivers throughout the region will soon be at flood stages.
