1/20/11 Ice Fishing update

Bear here from the frozen tundra of the Susquehanna. Under the full moon we actually did catch some fish last night. Had a fair amount of bites but the weasels were tough to hook. Once again it was that critical time right around last light and into the dark when the bite occurred. I will not take this lying down and a new baiting approach I have been scheming will be going into operation this weekend. Speaking of which the forecast is for Ice Station Zebra type temperatures here in the southern tier of NY and the hut will be going into play. Hut good when temperatures go below zero. That is all for now. FISH ON!!!
