THUNDER STICKS

Not this thunder stick but that was the hot item for the guys at lake Ontario the other day. They ended up with 15 Browns and 4 salmon plus a lot of short strikers. They also said that a few other boats did even better on the edge of the stained water and by the way they were fishing out of Mexico Bay and not Oswego Harbor. Turkey season has now started and some monsters have been taken with one 22#, 9 inch beard and another one 20 # with a 11 inch beard. Oh yeah plus they got Bin Laden and he had like a 15 inch beard, so all in all it was a FANTASTIC opening day. They got the biggest turkey of all. Streams continue to remain high and more rain is on the way. The northern ADK have been spared and water levels aren’t that bad. The trout are having an easy year so far as far as the anglers go.
