Conditions are varying widely

Due to the spotty severe thunderstorms stream conditions are varying dramatically! The streams along the northern most streams are getting low, yet on the Ausable and Saranac flows have been pretty good. A great tool is USGS stream flows site. http://waterdata.usgs.gov/nwis/rt  This is a great way to create a file of your favorite rivers and or areas you like to fish and keep an eye on median levels and actual current levels. I am looking forward to being back at the home office and doing some cat and carp fishing on the Susquehanna River with my kids. This is a great way to teach children about drag control and how to handle large fish. Photos and videos will be coming here and on my you-tube sight.
