A SUPER SUMMER IN THE ADIRONDACKS

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERAHi trout fishing fans, Papa Bear reporting in from the mountains. Just got in from a month up at Fort Minnow, my outpost here in the northern ADKs. After a super late and intense winter things went quite dry for awhile. All that changed after Memorial day and regular good rains things went crazy. Fantastic water levels were the results and these levels are maintaining. In fact we are looking at great fishing well into August at this point. Here are a smattering of the results of this first half of the season. This has been a big fish season with very few fish under 15 inches being caught and released. The weather for the most part has been ideal and the biting bugs very manageable. We have experienced an unusually high number of chamber of commerce days and I have been getting spoiled. Super truck has been retired and as you can see its still not an easy life for it and she loves it. Sorry I don’t have more fish pics but I seem to spend more time at camp working than fishing these days. Gourmet meals are a big part of the package up here and I am good at creating them. Okay that is my half time report, GO FISHING NOW!!!!
